Nursing Education

Building skill, confidence, and compassion at the bedside

The Institute of Critical Care Medicine runs a structured six-month modular training course for nurses, designed to strengthen core ICU competencies through a blend of lectures, workshops, and skill-station sessions. Each module focuses on vital aspects of critical care — from airway management and infection control to hemodynamic monitoring and advanced life support. Nurses also undertake practical projects and assessments that reinforce real-world application.

This program has benefitted hundreds of critical care nurses from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and beyond, helping them deliver safer, more efficient, and compassionate patient care in high-intensity environments.
